Her love for comedies and horror/thrillers Early on Ashley Maria realized she had a love for all things funny with a twist of frightening! Her writing and film work reflects this.
Blending the horror/comedy genres in her film "Friday Night Fright" in 2010, Ashley Maria received the prestigious Student Directing award from the Director's Guild of America. Her latest venture, "Volcano Girl," mixes action and comedy to build a VFX intensive super hero world within real world values. It's a movie about sisters...and then there's fire!
